WinView is an Enquiry System that adapts to the way you want to use it. There are several ways of using WinView

1. It provides all users with a very quick and conveniant way of finding information.
2. It lets you bring enquiries from multiple modules (and even different products) onto your own unified Enquiry-Desktop.
3. Using WinView is the ideal way to explore your data.

It uses component Windows that users can load, resize and position how they want.
Each Enquiry Desk Product comes with many pre-built components looking at most data files of interest. The components are either Enquiry Windows (acting on a single record-set) or Browser Windows (presented as multi-line lists). All components work together and where there are links, changes in one component will ripple back (both up and down a chain) through whatever components are loaded. Each User can set up his own scenarios (or layouts) of component Windows, that can be recalled with a single key press. WinView has unique searching ability, no matter what the underlying database.

• Every field can be searched.
• All text fields allow wild-card searches.
• All numeric fields allow range searches such as '<=50'.
• All date fields allow searches such as '>21/12/1999'.

Search results are presented in temporary pop-up browsers. Double-Click in a field to get a temporary browser just for that field (then Double-Click to select a record from the list). You can set-up your own scenario with all information that you need when a Customer calls and put it onto a Windows Hot key. So when the phone rings you just press <Win C>.
