WinView Editions

There are three editions of WinView version 5.4, WinView Lite, WinView Standard and WinView Professional.

WinView Lite Edition

The Entry level version of WinView.

• This includes many (exact number depends on the product) list and form Enquiry components.
• All the WinView searching is available - you can search on any data item, including wild-card searching on text fields.
• Each field in a form has a temporary browser
  • double-click on the field and then select from a list
  • type '>50 into a numeric field for a list of all records with a value of more than 50 in that field.

WinView Standard Edition

The standard edition ties all the separate components together.

• It Includes cross file, cross module and cross-product links, and includes a 'Link' panel to allow you to explore the relationship between the data files.
• It supports Scenarios as a way of using groups of components together.
• It includes the 'WinView Notes' which add a user-defined database to many of the supported data files.
• Try WinView Standard Edition with a 'Temporary Upgrade'.

WinView Professional Edition

Includes several advanced features.

• You can create your own scenarios, and share them.
• You can add modify and save the layout of any list.
• You can add new fields to lists and save them as new 'named layouts'.
• You can save any search you do as a 'Named Filter' and easily redo the search with the click of a button.
• Try WinView Professional Edition with a 'Temporary Upgrade'.
