WinView Notes

Have you ever puzzled over where to put a Customers contact name or number? Your package may have space for 2 contacts, but if you're on the phone and your customer gives you a third name, (or a second phone number for the same contact) where do you put it? (You probably make a note of it, carefully on a scrap of paper)

WinView Notes is the answer!

WinView Notes is an uncomplicated add-on Database for most of the data that WinView Enquiry Desk supports. And if you're already using WinView to check on the customer you're talking to, his Notes are a single Key-press away! It automatically links to records from most of the main files, adding 42 user-defined fields to each record. All Note files and Component Windows share a common layout, but the user can define the field headings. The default format allows for the addition of 3 contacts - with phone numbers, comments and dates, and 12 rolling single-line notes. Every Field can be searched using standard WinView searching techniques.

reserve one field as 'WhatToDo' Lock a search onto it and you have a flexible 'To-Do List', Linked to Customers (or Suppliers, or Stock or Orders etc).

WinView Notes are supplied for Customers, Suppliers, Stock, Sales Order & Purchase Orders in all products. Where appropriate we also cover Nominal Accounts and Jobs. WinView Notes is supplied by Product. A single price covers Notes for all supported Modules in a Product.
